Which is not your teaser sentences, by the way. No, these are much further down the line. And there's a few more than two sentences, but that's because there are two sentences that are extremely short, so I figure it averages out.
Teaser Tuesdays are hosted by Should Be Reading. It works as follows:
- Grab your current read.
- Open to a random page.
- Share two teaser sentences from somewhere on that page.
- Be careful not to include spoilers!
- Include the title and author.
From An Abundance of Katherines by John Green, p150:
"I'm never myself. I've got a Southern accent around the oldsters; I'm a nerd for graphs and deep thoughts around you; I'm Miss Bubbly Pretty Princess with Colin. I'm nothing."

Oh my, I'm not sure that sounds funny, but it does sound really interesting. You sound so enthused by the book that I think I'm going to add it to my TBR list. :-)
Meanwhile, mine is up earlier than usual today, at Bookishgal.
I loved, loved, loved this book. The climax scene had me cracking up (literally put-the-book-down-to-be-safe-because-you-might-bust-a-gut cracking up).
Always love to have recommendations for a funny; book!
My teaser is up!
Phyl - No, that part isn't exactly funny, is it? But much of it really is. It's a good balance between funny and touching, I think.
Literature Crazy - I am very much looking forward to that now! I've so far resisted my regular impulse to peek at the ending, and now I must...
Bird Book Dog - I hope you read this one! I'd love to see what you think.
Oh, to be a teen again (not).
Nice teaser!!
Great teaser! I love to read about 'figuring yourself out,' so I'll have to put this on my list.
Wow...sounds like it would be pretty complicated trying to figure out how you should act around people. Thanks for the teaser...mine is here.
Mary - Yeah, I cannot imagine ever wanting to go back there. Some of it was great while it lasted, some of it was not!
celi.a - Yes, do! It's got more than one character in a state of flux.
Jo-Jo - I think all of us waffle around our identities and behaviours every once in a while, particularly as teens trying to figure which ones we like best. Or at least, I did... Glad you liked the teaser!
Nice! I loved it. Maybe more than Looking for Alaska! Will you write your review of it when you've finished reading it?

I absolutely will! Next week, I think. I have managed to hold off peeking at the ending and am now very close to reading it properly...
