Which gave them an elusive, forbidden air.

I couldn't keep up a steady diet of romances (even Fabio, sadly) but I do thoroughly enjoy one here or there, and it's certainly worth finding an author or two you enjoy.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10330550798080469047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6907747392138991807.post-62876743925676601792009-10-09T09:47:46.635-04:002009-10-09T09:47:46.635-04:00You have converted me. I confess that growing up, my mom only read romance so maybe they just seem boring to me (not fair). I HAVE read all of the Fabio books. (he has them ghostwritten then is photographed like beached sexily on the sand)
Anyway, way off topic, this review was great and it makes me want to seek this book out, against all of my prejudices!Mandyhttp://eoseventeen.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6907747392138991807.post-39149892878073473892009-10-07T10:59:17.592-04:002009-10-07T10:59:17.592-04:00Welsh! That's a good author to try if Regencies are your light reading. Highly recommend The Lost Duke of Wyndham to start.Anonymoushttps://www.blogger.com/profile/10330550798080469047noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-6907747392138991807.post-28039883681251488932009-10-07T09:26:34.917-04:002009-10-07T09:26:34.917-04:00Welsh! She's Welsh first, then Saskatchewanian. ;)
I too enjoy her books when I'm looking for a light romance - I generally read Regencies as my escapist literature! Try some of her earlier ones with another family as the main characters; a little less fluffy perhaps.Melwykhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/04885378201188978664noreply@blogger.com
